What is RRB ALP?

An Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) works with the Loco Pilot in operating trains safely and efficiently. The job mainly involves:

Salary of RRB ALP

The initial basic pay is ₹19,900 under Level-2 of the 7th CPC. Estimated Monthly Salary

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the required technical qualification before the closing date of application. Students waiting for final results are not eligible. Generally accepted qualifications include:

    ITI in relevant trade

    Diploma in Engineering

    Degree in Engineering

Medical Standards

The ALP post has strict medical requirements because it involves train operations and passenger safety.

    6/6 distant vision without glasses

    Good near vision

    Binocular vision test

    Night vision test

Warning Note:

Candidates who have undergone LASIK or corrective eye surgery are not eligible for ALP recruitment.

Final Advice for Students
